Bijoux is a 1994 Anglo-Arabian mare who was acquired by Bayview Farm in 2005.  She is currently owned and shown by Alexis and Bill Doughty.  At the age of 11 Bijoux stepped into the show ring for the first time.  She competed for only two years earning the USEF horse of the year award both years.  In 2006 and 2007 she was the top Half-Arabian Sport Horse in the USA.  In 2006 she was also awarded the Grand National Champion Half-Arabian, this award is given to the Half -Arabian who has accumulated the most points over all.  During this short 2 years of showing Bijoux won MANY, MANY Championships including 2 Scottsdale Championship, 2 Reserve National Championships, 3 East Coast Championship, and 4 Region 15 Championships, along with many Regional Top Fives and many National Top Ten awards.

Bijoux gave birth to a beautiful chestnut filly by Showkayce on February 5th, 2009.
